Jim and his cleaning team at CityLights, have provided a truly professional service for cleaning my apartment for over 3 years. Jim automatically includes thoughtful extras like cleaning the front porch light, the back and sides of washers and dryers, and even gets rid of basement cobwebs.

Fairly often we need to contend with tired and dingy old vinyl on kitchen and/or bathroom floors. Jim has some sort of "floor trick" that he works that makes these floors look almost new. We were amazed every time!

We have been property managers for over eight years. A central reason for our continuous success is our high standard of excellence. During that time we have tried many different vendors for various services. One of these services, cleaning our vacant rental units, was one we had difficulty finding good help.  So often, the cleaning crews we hired did not do as thorough a job as we needed them to, and we would end up having to do a more detailed cleaning after they had finished. This was true of both inexpensive and expensive crews. We were thrilled when we found CityLights. They listen to exactly what we want from them and they pay attention to the smallest details -- details other cleaning crews don't even notice. It is a relief to know that we can always trust that they will do an excellent job and the extra mile on tough jobs. They are absolutely our preferred vendor for cleaning.

City Lights Cleaning Service took on the Herculean task of cleaning an apartment that had been utterly neglected for three years. Despite unspeakable state the apartment was in, he proprietor and his two staff members had a positive attitude and were determined to get the job done. They went above and beyond the call of duty and took it upon themselves to beautify the apartment rather than just clean it. At the end of the day, they left the place spotless and tidy. After seeing this crew in action I believe that they can handle any challenge, no matter how overwhelming. City Lights rocks!

I love this guy. I live in Tucson AZ and my sister is battling cancer here in Oakland. They did an amazing job cleaning her apartment for her first trip home after chemotherapy. Jim was willing to coordinate everything with me over the phone and work with the apartment manager to get the job finished by the time my sister came home. Since the first cleaning he has worked around her treatment schedule to keep her place clean and safe. I don't think I have ever had such a good experience with a service company.

City Lights saved our bacon!  My mother came to stay with us from the East Coast.  Her home is meticulous.  She has cream couches and vacuums every day - got the idea?  Anyway.  I have much lower standards and a 4 year old that is not too interested in keeping the house clean... In comes City Lights the day before my mom arrived.  Ta Da!  The place looked great!  Smelled great!  Thanks City Lights!  We plan to hire them regularly and raise our standard of living.  :)
